National Zoo Trip.

This Zoo trip was meant for Azfar, which to expose him to the real animals life. All this while he only got to see all the animals either in the television or from his books. This trip was planned somewhere end of January but due to reasons that can't be avoided, we postponed it. So we went there on the second week of March...*Lawatan ke Zoo Negara merangkap cuti-cuti Kuala Lumpur*... We left the house about 10.30 am and the traffic on that day wasn't good enough all the way from Shah Alam to Jalan Ampang.

As we reached the parking entrance, I was actually very excited as compared to Azfar. En Zairin pun excited jugak sebab kami dah berpuluh taun tak pi. Last sekali masa tadika ka sekolah rendah ka pun tak ingat dah...huhuhu.
Ok let's start the journey and have fun.

Yoo..oo..oo friends, i'm at the Zoo.

Tuuut...tuuuttttt...tuuut.....tuutttt. Ok we have to take the train ride first. Ni pun kene bayar? RM3/dewasa....caittt. Dahla masuk pun kena bayar. Takpalah.

Of all the animals in the Zoo, Azfar love these the most...goats. Haihhh...kat kampung Puchong pun boleh dapat.

'Wowww...you such a huge animal.'

'Meet my new friend, Mr Tiger.'

Abang-abang, wait, let's be friend. I wanna join you running here and there.

'I am so exhausted'

Ok after spending about 3 hours at the Zoo, Azfar was so tired and he felt asleep right after we entered the car right to the hotel room.

*letih sungguh*

Later that night we had dinner at Wadi Hadramawt Restaurant Jalan Ampang, a Middle East Cuisine.

*Lamb Khabsa*

*Chicken Mandy*

*Mix Grilled Wadi Hadramawt*

*dengan pelahapnya Azfar makan...laparrrr*

The next day activity was swimming. It's a must for him to get into the pool before going home.

*Abah quick!*

Ok, for sure we will come again and visit all the animals but dunno whenla.

Such a cute cake.

The last 2 weekends, Yon, my eldest sister wanted to do a small birthday party celebration for her eldest daughter, Nina. At first she said she would invite a few of Nina's close friends but at the very last moment she cancelled it because Nina's friends aren't around...*school break kan jadi ramai pergi jalan-jalan la*....so it end up with celebrating it with our family only and at the very last minute also, Angah, my second sister was thinking to celebrate her second son's, Eiman, birthday party which falls at the end of March,
so...2 in 1.... la.

At the same day also, Mak wanted to 'belanja makan' as what she had promised earlier if she got the BR1M money. The 'anak-anaks' suggest something light and to have it at home jer, either pizza or satay...mak wanted pizza and Yon suggested Papa John's pizza so we bought that. And I used this coupon to purchased....wah manyak jimat wooo......

Around 6pm the three of us went out to hunt for the birthday cake. Options that we have here is either Baker's Cottage, Secret Recipe or Baskin Robbins. First to Baker's Cottage, next to Secret Recipe...hmmmm.... the same flavour, design as always and nothing special on that day. Next to Baskin Robbins, and we were like so 'jakun' especially both of my sisters....hahahha...because that was our first time hunting for Baskin Robbins ice-cream cake, if ice-cream tuh biasalah kan. Upon looking at the fridge that was full with ice-cream cake, our eyes caught this one fancy cake at the same time and we were like...wah cute nyer...cute nyer....erkkk....control sikit ye.

Wait...there's a problem. There are only 6 cones but we have 7 kids at home.

Us: 'Can you add another cone in the middle with the same design?'
Shop assistant: 'Sorrylah kak tak boleh sebab kon-kon tuh dah melekat kuat.'
Us: 'Then maybe you just do separately and place it in another box.'
Shop assistant: 'Sorrylah kak designer dah balik. Akak boleh beli 1 kon extra aje tanpa designla.'
Us: Hurmmm...frustrated.

I said, don't worry because I don't think Azfar will berebut for the cones but thinking that he might and the chances for him to bertolak ansur is 0%, Ok2 let's not pening-pening kepala just get another 1 scoop of ice-cream...pandai-pandailah nanti kalau Azfar nak yang decorated nyer.

*Birthday girl and boy*

*Tuan Hj Mohammed Kamil's & Rabiah's grandchildren*

p/s: The next day, RM 70 goes down the drain as half of the cake melted due to no space in freezer to place the ice-cream cake. It was placed in the chiller only...owh...

Port Dickson 2012

Percutian untuk cuti-cuti tahun 2012 dimulakan dengan Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus. Port Dickson lagi?

*'Nak tu..nak tu' kata Azfar*

Makan malam dekat Medan Ikan Bakar Majlis Perbandaran Port Dickson sebab terpengaruh masa ada keluar dalam Jalan-jalan Cari Makan TV3 minggu sebelum tuh. Dalam TV semua nampak sedap tapi hakikatnya sendiri-sendiri fahamla.

*udang goreng butter-cair & sotong goreng tepung-terlampau-banyak-perasa*

*ikan siakap masam manis & ketam berlada*

Orang ramai macam kena serang tebuan.

*'I love swimming pool'*

*ke pantai pula*

*yang lain sibuk nak naik 'banana boat' tapi Azfar sibuk nak naik 'truck' yang tarik 'jet ski' tuh*
*Azfar naik 'banana boat'...cayalah*

* Mertua dan cucu-cucunya*
Percutian di Port Dickson hanyalah untuk merehatkan minda, merapatkan hubungan kekeluargaan, bersuka-ria bersama anak-anak dan suami dan melupakan kerja-kerja rumah.

I am 31......

On 28th January 2012 and when the clock striked at 7.19 pm, Alhamdulillah Allah SWT allow me to live for 31 years in this world. How fast the time flies and I still have plenty of goals and ambitions to be achieved in this life. I am upgrading myself and struggling to be a true & perfect Muslimah, a solehah wife to my husband, a good mother and friend to my children, a daughter & daughter-in-law that can give happiness to both my parents & parents-in-law, a reliable sister to my siblings, a person who can bring pleasure to all the family members, a person who appreciates friendship and a muslimah who wish to contribute back to the society on one fine day, InsyaALLAH.

A weekend vacation at a nearby place was really rejuvenating....

.....with great companions.

Kembalilah Ke Pangkal Jalan.

Pesanan yang ditujukan khas untuk diri sendiri. Alkisahnya,

Zaman Dara a.k.a Sebelum Kahwin:
34 - 24 - 34 inci
Itu sudah 'hourglass shape'. Phewittt...phewitttt....Ahahaha, itu adalah mitos semata-mata.

Hakikatnya,
34 - 28 - 39 inci, 50 kg
Wow, mesaunya montot. Ye memang.

*siap masuk pertunjukan fesyen batik lagi*

Selepas kahwin, sebelum mengandung:

35 - 29 - 39 inci, 50 - 51 kg

Oh ada peningkatan juga di bahagian atas, ermmm apakah sebabnya?.....fikir-fikirkanlah sendiri.

*baju-baju zaman anak dara masih boleh dipakai lagi*

Masa mengandung :

Tak payah ceritalah. Memang out terus.

*mengandung 5 bulan, selera makan amatlah besar*

6 bulan selepas buah hatiku dilahirkan sehingga kini :

38 - 32 - 42 inci, 67 kg

Umanghai...bagai dipam-pam satu badan. Dah macam pelampung bergeraklah pulak. Pelampung pun masih boleh dikempiskan kalau nak tapi diriku ini.....uwaaaaa....tak nak kempis-kempis pun.

*wah dah macam rupa makcik-makcik beranak 5 la pulak, dengan serabainya*

Mengeluh itu ini but no action taken. How can that be?
In fact i do not feel so much guilty about the major changes until for the last 2 months when few people (few means more than 1)

1. kept asking me, 'Are you expecting another one?'... or...'Tengah ada isi ke?'....My answer is NO, I'm not at the moment.

2. when I was in any Hypermarket yang ada stall-stall kat luar tuh, muncullah 'ah so' yang macam nak terkam I dan, 'Eh mali-mali sini kasi kulus itu badan, I pun sudah kulus gune ini ploduk'. WHAT??? You think i'm fat meh? And you think I wanna use your made-in-China-product meh?....hahaaha, taklah I takdelah sekejam itu nak berkata-kata begitu kan. I hanya 'Takpe I tak mau' sambil tersenyum geram.

These two situations are more than enough for me to take actions and act. Dah 2 bulan baru nak take action. Ala maafkanlah diriku ini.

Actions taken :
1. To reduce rice intake (this is the major contribution).

Before,
Morning ~ nasi lemak kosong RM1.50 , 3-4x /week.
Lunch ~ 2 full scoop of white rice, everyday.
Dinner ~ 2 full scoop of white rice, everyday.
In between meal ~ kuih-muih 2-3 keping (morning), pisang goreng panas RM2 (tea) or any food that can make my stomach to behave before the actual makan time.

Now and I hope to continue until I reach my goal,
If I take nasi lemak (small portion) for breakfast, then no rice at all during lunch, meehoon is the option. For dinner only 1 scoop (diratakan) of rice. Still have to take rice la because I just can't resist my mom's cook.

2. To reduce chicken and red meat intake ~ boleh punye sebab mak selalu masak ikan.

3. To replace kuih-muih & goreng pisang panas with loads of fresh fruits, wholegrain bread or quaker oats.

4. Exercise..exercise...exercise. Bila pulak nak exercise? Pandai-pandailah hang cari masa Azilawati oiii.

Ok my plan is to lose around 5 - 7 kg before having another baby.

All the best to me.

Honeymoon Flashback Part 3

Ok let's continue.

Day 4: The Wax Museum, Habour Town & Q Deck Tower.

Habour Town was on the 'Places-to-go List' but when we were on our morning drive around the neighbourhood, we passed by this place named The Wax Museum...ermmm and I was thinking macam Madame Tussauds London ka? If yes than it would be great, but at the same time I was wondering why it isn't listed as one of the places-you-must-go...nevermind forget about it and lets start the tour. The place is quite small and as we entered I can see there were 1 family of 4 and a couple of 'warga emas' queueing to buy the ticket. After I have bought the ticket, the ticketman gathered us in 1 group and he explained a little bit about the tour and that he will be guided us throughout the tour...ok lets have fun...#%^&*%$&...perghhh...funlah sangat, boring ok and I advise you not to go to this place, such a waste of money, time & energy aje.

1. I'm saying hi to Albert Einstein.
2. Mahatma Gandhi terkejut tgk diri sendiri masa muda2...
Before we head to our next destination, we need to take our lunch first as our stomach has already making funny sounds. We ordered fried rice from Maharani as that was the cheapest meal...* as I mentioned earlier, it opens only at 5 pm but in our case we called the owner earlier and ask if he could take our order for lunch (take-away) and with full of sympathy he agreed....yeayyyy.
Clockwise:
1. Waiting for the food. See the restaurant is empty.
2. Myself enjoying lunch by the beach. En Zairin's meal gone in one second and still not enough for him, so dengan baik hati I bagi separuh nasi goreng I....huhuuhuhu....ikhlas la.
3. Termenung jauh nampak. 'Banyak duit aku keluar dah ni'.....kata En Zairin kot.

Next is to Habour Town. This is a one stop center for you to shop at a bargain price (the website said so). The journey took us about half an hour to reach there and we were depending on the map only, very easy,no GPRS. Don't be scared to drive by yourself here, all you need is just the map and if you think you are lost, then stop by and ask the people around you. What you need to worry is, while driving you must be extra careful of the pedestrians when they are crossing the road unlike in Malaysia kena pandang kiri kanan, pandang lagi kiri kanan belum sempat habis lintas tiba-tiba ada satu kereta dengan lajunya dah nak dekat, maka kita pun lari-lari itik...fuhhh berdebar-debar jantung nasib baik sempat. Bila dah selamat lintas kita pun sumpah-seranah driver tadi.

Quite a big place. So we straight away go to the information counter and grabbed a map and study. Wehuuuu let's start shopping...'Say again?'said En Zairin....ooppsssss let's start WINDOW SHOPPING. Shopping on personal items was not in En Zairin's List of Budget, so I stopped myself dreaming carrying lots of shopping bags but I managed to buat muka kesian and he got me a Levi's jeans...jadilah. We only shop for souveniers for both of our families and friends.
And also posing in front of the shops.
And bought some fruits. All the fruits looked so tempting, fresh and big in size. We freshen up ourselves at Kofte Burger Restaurant, one of the Halal Restaurant available here or maybe the only one.
Ok before we went back to the hotel to recharge our energy for tomorrow, we drive further up from our place to see the other side of the nieghbourhood.
Selepas ronda-ronda tiba-tiba En Zairin sebut pasal Q1 Deck Tower....*apekebendenye tuh*..... Tower ni is just opposite to our hotel and it is similiar to KL Tower where you can see the panoramic view from the top and there is a Restaurant/Cafe for you to have a romantic dinner or just to have a cuppa coffee. 'Nak pergi tak?' En Zairin tanya. 'Boleh je, dah alang-alang berjalan biar sampai lebam. Lagi pun tak tau entah bila nak sampai lagi kat sini.'
So we parked the car at the hotel and we walked to the place. When we were at the entrance, we saw this one huge 4WD and we were so amazed because it was extraordinary HUGE.
Left - Right:
1. Myself was hardly to be seen. Kena cari betul-betul.
2. But En Zairin is almost the size of this huge thing...ahaks.
Ok we bought the ticket and here we go. We were being assist up to the top. If I'm not mistaken, it is a 80-storey building and it took around 5-8 seconds..*can't really remember*... to the top. Wallawey...laju nyer. Agak gayat tapi bila turun lagi terasa gayatnye...hahaha....*kalau la terputus tali kabel, mau terbenam dalam tanah*...Boleh pulak fikir camtuh.
Enjoy the view.
1. Masa sampai dah nak dekat maghrib, jadi dapatlah tengok siang dan malam nye view.

Day 5 : Aquaduck, Infinity & to Brisbane

An activity just to spare your time. An 1 hour++ tour that takes you around the Gold Coast city.
This Infinity is a must-try-activity. Damn cool. You will be in candy land, haunted house, in a jungle, in a maze and many more.
Before we make a move to Brisbane we went for a walk at the Surfer's Paradise and was so 'jakun' to see Gen-2 and Satria Neo....hahaha.

Ok, all set to our next destination, Brisbane city. I proposed to En Zairin that we take the hardier way of transportion instead of calling the coachtrans from the room then wait at the hotel lobby while sitting on the comfortable sofa, having someone to carry your luggages and send you to the hotel doorstep.
So we took public bus from the city to the Nehrang Train Station and from there it took us about 2 hours to reach the Brisbane Transit Center. From there we ask for the direction to the Watermark Hotel and according to the kind man it was just nearby about 1 - 2 km away but with the big luggages and the hilly road we might find it exhausting. I told En Zairin, let's give a try because walking in a cold weather can be very relaxing. Yup, very 'relaxing' and I regretted so much for not taking the taxi. We was like climbing a steep hill all the way up in a very cold weather (it was already dark that time) and a shaky knees that makes my movement to be very slow. I was so relieved when we reached the hotel doorstep. Fuhhh..... Alhamdulillah.
Time to relax and have a good sleep for our tomorrow's activity.

p/s: Next entry would be on Brisbane City tour, River Cruise, Lone Pine Sanctuary, Honeyworld, Byron Bay, Tropical Fruit Farm & time to say goodbye.
