Just a short entry. Sebab I takut ada yang muntah hijau

'You ni sweet jer' ...huh? repeat again. 'You ni sweet jer' :o erkk.... i was like floating in the air when she came out with that phrase. 'She' is someone from somewhere that my company is dealing with. Although this is not the first time hearing other people saying that to me but it has been such a longgg time ago since i heard that phrase... wow what a 'perasan-giler-pengakuan' that i've made.

I'm a western food lover. I juz love italian food so much. One of my favourite is lasagna, top with chicken gravy, accompanied by coleslaw & mashed potato.....oooooo sedapnyeeee. The one & only place that i like to enjoy my lasagna is at Dave's Deli Restaurant. I have been eating at this place since form 3 and that was like 15 years back and the taste still remain the same. I have tried many other places but Dave's Deli's lasagna is still the best.... unfortunately the one in Subang Parade has been closed or it has been relocated, not so sure about that. So to fulfill my cravingness i have decided to bake my own lasagna using my own recipe....simple n easy.




Ingredients for the filling are garlic, yellow onion, minced beef/chicken, chillie paste, tomato puree, tomato sauce, sliced button mushroom, diced carrot & celery (optional), some water, some herbs (oregano & bay leaves) and salt. Layered using lasagna sheets.



Covered with bechamel sauce. Ingredients are butter, fresh milk, flour and salt. Then i topped with grated cheddar & parmesan cheese. Sprinkle a little bit of oregano flakes. (optional)



Then bake till the lasagna sheet becomes soft and the topping becomes golden brown.


It should look something like this or better. This one i ate with the chicken gravy.


Not enough on madness-for-lasagna, my *gatal-punye-tekak* wanted to eat spaghetti. And instead of using the same recipe, i started to search for the delicious yet simple recipe and i found this blog, www.thefoodsandus.blogspot.com . This particular blog is juz perfect for me, 1001 western recipes in it.I tried the spaghetti bolognese meatball recipe, simple but does not really fit my taste.

This is how it looks. The meatballs are not so bad but for the spaghetti sauce, i prefer my own version.

BaaChak! Creative

With BaaChak! Creative existance, i'm now an entrepreneur...hahaha really? Well hopefully with the diaper cakes/cupcakes collections kick start will lead me to be a well known online entrepreneur on babies/children stuffs (wah berangannye). I like cute and adorable things and all babies/children stuffs are cute, don't you think so?

How does BaaChak! Creative came up and you might be wondering what on earth is this thing called diaper cake/cupcakes. When i first heard about this, what came across my mind was the diaper with the 'poopoo' and 'weewee' being transformed into cakes??? EEuuuu....and i was imagining Azfar's 'poopoo' and not forgetting the strong smell that can kill a fly (sorry dear, ummi just can't keep that as a secret between us).

I was so eager to know more about this and one day as i browse around for the informations, fuhhh there you go, my jaw dropped and all i can say is diaper cakes are sooooooooo adorable, cute, unique, practical and stylish, fun and elegant, gorgeous, charming....and the list goes on and on. Then I started dreaming someone giving me diaper cake as a gift for Azfar (sapela yang nak bagi pulak and on what purpose?) . I was thinking and dreaming about it for few days and one fine day (somewhere in August), I thought of giving a try to make it using my own precious hands and well...well...to make thing even better, there is going to be a new member of the family (on my husband's side) in few weeks time.

First attempt, there are a lot of try n error, adjust here and there and finally...taaadaaaa...

Popeyes

Another choice of fast food variety especially to those who loves to eat fried chicken....kokkk kok kok kok....asyik2 KFC or at least McDonalds fried chicken.

Popeyes is another 'not-that-bad' choice. I juz tried it recently at Mid Valley outlet ....im not sure where else do they have....ermmm if im not mistaken they have one in TTDI...(sori k coz i dah lama x hang out so xtau sgt ape yg latest, agak ketinggalan skrg nih).

The meal sets are almost the same like KFC, it's juz that Popeyes currently dont have much choice compared to the other one. The chicken tastes juz nice coz they marinateit well enough...but one thing for sure, I love the mashed potato n coleslaw...way much better than KFC. Not-so-close up pic.....yummyyyy.... it is also less oily.

Azfar only gets his tit bits while we enjoying the meal and he kept 'kacauing' us by try to pull wuteva is in front of him. (X aman ummi nk enjoy meal, abah Azfar plak dah menjilat-jilat jari).

Overall rate 8/10.....

Anda tak kan dpt balas 100% jasa ibu sepenuhnya. Takkan terbalas.

Begitu juga dgn anak2 kita. Mereka takkan boleh buat seperti apa yang kita dah buat pd mereka bila mereka dewasa nanti. Kerana kitajuga tak dpt buat apa yang ibu kita buat/berkorban pd kita dahulu.

Saya menerima pelbagai email setiap hari. Berbagai kisah.

salam farah. saya ingin berkongsi tentang cerita ank buah saya yg br berusia 2 minggu. bb ini disyaki mengidap Edward Syndrome berdasarkn keadaan fizikal dan saiznya yg kecil. beratnya hanya 2.04 da skrang ini menurun kpd 1.8kg.sejak awaln tahun ini sy jd silent reader blog farah dan sgt teruja dgn penyusuan susu ibu. so, sy bg semangat kpd kakak sy untuk hanya memberi susu ibu pd anknya. sy percaya kepada susu ibu sepenuhnya & berharap penawar penyakitnya ada pd susu ibunya. sungguh terharu bila kakak sy menyambut baik saranan saya. awal minggu pertama semasa berada di hospital kakak saya memerah susunya hanya dengan tangan sehingga ke dua-dua payudaranya melecet. sanggup tdk tidur hanya kerana ingin memberikn yg terbaik buat si ank yg telah di nanti selama 6 tahun. ini ank kakak sy yg pertama. hati ibu mana yg x luluh bile ank yg dinanti-nantikan dikatakan hanya dpt bertahan utk setahun shj.tetapin kami percaya kuasa Allah mengatasi segalanya. jadi kami berusaha utk memberikn yg terbaik buatnya.

Alhamdulillah minggu lalu bb dah dapat keluar dan bersama keluarganya di rumah. tp bb masih blm dapat menyusu direct. saiz mulutnya sgt kecil sdg kan breast kakak sy agak besar. sy bg semangat utk kakak sy sentiasa cuba buat direct breastfeed kerana sy pernah terbc yg farah ckp bb boleh latch secara semulajadi. setakat ini bb hanya minum melalui picagari atau menggunakan cup. bb ni hanya tidur sahaja & tdk sama dgn bb lain yg normal. perlu dikejutkan semasa menyusu.

mlm td saya dpt tahu bb ni terpaksa dimasukkn ke wad balik sbb bacaan jaundice nya tinggi. katanya sampai 21. sedih sgt bile sy dapat tahu sbb sy tengok kulitnya dah teruk sbb sbm ni da seminggu di hospital di bwh lampu. ms mula2 balik mak sy kt bb nampak mcm ‘kain buruk’. tejelepuk je x bermaya. da seminggu di bela di rumah bb da nampak makin ‘berseri’. tp tatau la cemana bile da kene masuk wad balik ni.sungguh sy sediih…

Inilah si kecil yang sangat2 istimewa kerana di beri susu ibu melalui cawan walaupun mengalami masalah. Anak, kami semua mendoakan kesihatanmu.

Ibu itu tidak akan pernah mengalah. Tidak akan pernah kenal erti putus asa walaupun beliau bukan seorang yang kuat. Tetapi, bila gelaran ibu sudah ada, semuanya berubah. Berubah.

Ibu akan berbuat apa sahaja. Bangun 3 pagi? Tak tidur semalaman dek kena memerah susu utk hari esok? Bisa. Ibu bisa buat.

Sejak dari dalam kandungan, ibu sanggup ke kelas penyusuan. Sanggup mendalami ilmu demi anak tersayang. Gambar: Kelas Penyusuan susu ibu di Sarakids sabtu lepas.

p/s: Terharu dgn kehadiran kak diyana yang sanggup bawa adiknya yang kurang upaya (tidak boleh bercakap dan mendengar) dan sedang mengandung 8 bulan. Kak diyana mahu sangat adiknya menyusukan anaknya wpun ibunya kurang upaya. kak diyana jadi jurubahasa isyarat pada hari tersebut semasa saya sedang memberi ceramah penyusuan. Terima kasih kak, Allah pasti ada ganjaran utk akak kerana sanggup berkorban utk adik tersayang.

Kanan sekali, Puan Fiza yang kisahnya saya telah paparkan di blog ini (sila klik) satu ketika dulu. Beliau menyusukan anak angkatnya sehingga kini, dan Alhamdulillah, berkat menjaga, menyusu dan membela anak angkat tanpa berbelah bagi, beliau mengandungkan anak sulung 8 bulan sekarang. Ya Allah, indahnya aturanMu. Fiza, jaga diri baik2.

Ibu. saya bangga menjadi ibu. walau tak pasti bagaimana anak2 saya akan ‘menjaga’ ibu ini nnti bila tua, bila sudah tidak bergigi, bila sudah buang air besar merata dan bila sudah tak betah berjalan, tapi saya bertuah di pilih menjadi ibu dan mahu menjalankan tanggungjawab ini sebaik mungkin. Dan, sebolehnya saya mahu balas jasa mama saya yang telah bersusah payah membesarkan saya dan adik2. Ya, saya tahu saya takkan boleh jadi seperti apa yang dia buat pada saya dari saya lahir hingga kini, tetapi, saya sangat sayangkan dia dan sanggup buat apa saja utk mama. Saya tahu dia baca entry saya setiap hari dan menyelami apa yang saya rasa setiap hari. I love u so much, mama.

Ibu, mummy, mama, mak, umi, bonda- apa pun gelaran- anda mmg kuat dan hebat.

Bila jadi ibu, sesibuk manapun saya, saya takkan pernah lupa yang saya telah jadi ibu. Saya mungkin boleh lupa sebentar yang saya seorang kawan, seorang majikan, tetapi saya tidak akan boleh lupa yang saya adalah seorang IBU kepada 3 anak yang dikurniakan Allah.

p/s: Entry hari ini sangat IBU dan penuh emosi. Kalian yang telah berkongsi cerita dalam email dgn saya, TERIMA KASIH kerana kadang2 anda menyedarkan saya yang tidak semua org bertuah dan ada insan yang lebih malang tetapi TERPILIH dan KUAT.

Bangkitlah, ibu yang sedang dalam kemurungan dan kesedihan. Anda masih bertuah kerana ada insan yang memanggil anda IBU. Bangkit dari putus asa dan kesedihanmu. Sapulah air mata mu kembali bersemangat menyusukan, mendidik dan membelai anak-anakmu. Allah ada. Dan sentiasa ada.

I've been aiming this 'gadget' for so long....kumpul sana kumpul sini, pujuk hubby skit....hahaha

who are selling it at a cheaper price but it's up to all mommies out there where do u wanna get it

I know this pump is expensive, BUT its worth buying....trust me. As for me, i can use it for my

next...next and next baby....hahaha. I like this pump coz;

1. it is small(fits in the palm of my hand & light (compare to spectra 3).

2. it has hands free kit.....… freedom is born and rechargeable battery.....… a perfect

choice for mom-on-the go. Xyah ssh2 nk cari plug point kalo kt luar.

3. the suction lebih kurang mcm baby nyer....x sakit langsung...nyot..nyot...ehehehe.

4. most of my frenz who has this pump, do admit that it helps to increase the milk

supply...dengan izin Allah S.W.T. Bape byk pun susu yg dapat, itulah rezeki utk baby,

jgn sesekali compare ngan org len...alhamdulillah yg patut diucapkan.

I love breastfeeding and i would like moms-to-be or mommies out there to breastfeed ur babies. Even if u only manage to get 1 oz, that 1 oz is the best food for ur baby. I hope to breastfeed Muhammad Azfar till the age of 2 1/2 years...ummi will do the best that i could cayang.....InsyaALLAH.
